This is an amazing piece by I decided I wanted a go at colouring a slightly more complex piece, and I am really happy with how it turned out. Although this took me a lot longer than it should have, I decided to stop it here, otherwise I wouldn't get anything else done. However, I do realise there are a lot of errors and the bakground is ghastly, but it's alright. I tried to recreate the clubroom.
Anyway, this wouldn't have been possible without the magnificent line art: [link]
Cool you did the eyes yourself! Keep it up though I would suggest you use lighter and darker tones to make it look more 3D rather than flat. Keep it up!
This is nice, your painting is really coming along (: I agree with Tom about the shadows - also, try experimenting with using a muted version of the opposite of a colour in the shadows (like a little purple in the shadowed bits of the yellow fabric, and green in the shadows of the red fabric, etc), instead of just a darker version of the colour - like you did in your lioness painting (:
You did a wonderful job on the eyes they turned out really pretty! I think that ur colouring is improving really fast ^^ well done! say hi to Cindy for me
Haha, thanks! Yeah, I think, well to me it feels like slowly, but I am improving, and people keep recommending new things for me to try out. But thank you very much! Cindy was really happy when she saw you said hi. She
